MEN’S PRAYER AND SHARE, SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th: The men will begin the Saturday Morning Prayer and Share small group on Saturday, September 6th at 7:30 a.m. in the LPC Youth Lounge. This first Saturday will be a time to catch up on what’s gone on over the summer and include time for prayer. Starting September 13th, the group will begin a discussion of the booklet - "Reformed, What It Means and Why It Matters." When that is finished the men will take a look at the Evangelical Manifesto.
MEN’S GROUP MUM SALE FUNDRAISER, SEPTEMBER 13th AND 14th: Purchase your fall flowers at the Annual Mum Sale on Saturday, September 13th and before/after the worship services Sunday, September 14th in the parking lot by the Boy Scout Cabin. Small (8-10”) and large pots (14”) will be available. Proceeds will benefit various mission endeavors including Guatemalan and African missions, Jesus Film Project, Bethanna, and other local missions.
CROP WALK 2008 IS COMING, OCTOBER 12th
The Crop Walk is about raising money for food, water,
firewood,
shelter, farming supplies, employment, and
education for needy
people all over the world. 25% of
what is raised goes to local food
banks. Our Youth
Group is walking at Core Creek Park on
October 12th
and
they need sponsors and cheerleaders!

JOINT SERVICE WITH FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH AT LPC - 9:45 AM, AUGUST 31ST: Langhorne Presbyterian Church will be hosting the annual joint service with our neighbors at First Baptist Church. A picnic will follow immediately in Fellowhip Hall.There will be no contemporary service this day.
RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE AT LPC, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th: The Blood Drive will be in Fellowship Hall from 1:30-7:30 p.m. Make an appointment to donate blood in the Narthex on August 24th after the 9:15 service. Red Cross policy now allows for sixteen year olds to give blood with parental permission.
LPC RESTROOM RENOVATIONS - DELAYED!: Due to a holdup in shipping the new partitions for the restrooms, the renovations will be postponed until after the joint Labor Day Service with First Baptist.
